Friday 12th January 2024 This was a very straightforward and emphatic win for Pit Farm. First pair James Clarke and Patrick Sullivan won both their matches 6-3,6-2 and 6-2,6-1. On Sunday 26th November, braving the drizzle and cold, 16 ladies ‘of a certain age and over’ took part in the Ladies Vets Doubles Tournament. Wednesday 29th November Once again, Pit Farm found themselves playing away on an alien artificial clay surface. 1st pair, Colin Taylor and James Clarke fought phenomenal sets to take both rubbers winning outright in the first 7-5,6-1 and going to championship tie break in the second winning 5-7, 6-3, 1-0 (TB) 10-8.
